Singing Lessons

The Imogen Singing School provides classes in vocal tuition and the history and theory of music for students from 4 to 18 years.



The Imogen Singing School offers a single free trial lesson. You are most welcome to come in, see what happens then decide if it is right for you and your child.

While maintaining a standard of the highest musical excellence, students and choristers continue to enjoy the fun, friendships, rewards and enriching sense of fulfilment that the Imogen experience has brought to hundreds of students and choristers over the years.

Students participate in group classes which prepare them for solo and choral performances. They are given opportunities to sing alone or as part of a small group, and shown how to perform confidently in front of others.

The weekly singing classes involve musicianship training, sight-reading, language skills, fun action songs, improvisation and harmony work. This preparation culminates with the opportunity to join the renowned Imogen Children’s Chorale.


All classes are held at St Matthew's Church Hall on the corner Oxley and Sherwood Roads, Sherwood.
