The Choirs
The Imogen singing school was founded in 1987 with a few small singing classes and a community choir.
Over the last 21 years Imogen has achieved great success with it's various classes and ensembles. Previous groups include a young adult Madrigale group, the Queensland Philharmonic Chorale, a Men's Chorus, a junior choir and a Women's Choir.
Currently there are three ensembles at Imogen Singing, Imogen Women's Choir, Imogen Alumni Choir and our premier children's choir, Imogen Children's Chorale.
"You really have done amazing stuff with Imogen. I'm never gonna want to leave, so you might be stuck with me!" Grace, student
Imogen Children's Chorale

Regarded as one of Australia's foremost choirs, The Imogen Children's Chorale is named after the English conductor, composer and music educator, Imogen Holst. The Chorale is known to audiences right across the country not only through its regular concert appearances, but also for its many live and recorded performances on national radio and television.

There is a range of abilities in the group from basic beginners to competent, experienced singers. Everyone enjoys themselves and always learns something new.
