About Us
Imogen Singing was founded in Indooroopilly in 1987 with a few small singing classes and a community choir. Since that time Imogen has grown to become nationally recognised as an organisation that presents world-class music and produces highly-skilled, intelligent musicians.
Imogen was founded with the ideals of:
excellent group and individual tuition
creating well-rounded, intelligent musicians
encouraging a life-long love of music
supporting and encouraging children and youth through the arts
excellence in performance
supporting emerging Australian artists
Staff bio
Alisen McLeod, a previous Imogen chorister herself, assumed the directorship of Imogen Singing in 2007. Kym Meagher began her association with Imogen in 2004 and is our excellent accompanist.
